15 Smart Strategies To Reduce Stress
I remember a time in my life when I got a knot in the pit of my stomach and I started dreading Monday as soon as 3 o’clock Sunday afternoon hit. Part of it was being absolutely miserable at my job {I spent 8 years in banking and still have a passion for budgeting and finance, just not the office politics}, the crazy traffic and 2 hour drive time plus being away from my family for most of the day. And part of it was not having enough time to do life on my terms. Here I was trying to create my “dream life” and I was too busy working at a job I couldn’t stand to actually be able to enjoy it.
What I learned from that experience was that although our situations may not change over night, changing my outlook on the situation not only reduced my stress level, but it in turn changed my actions which created possibilities I wasn’t even aware of before. Different actions = different results.
I also learned that it may not always take what we think it does to make changes or move forward and a simple shift could be a major game changer. If you’re feeling stressed, out of balance or overwhelmed, here's 15 smart strategies to help reduce stress...
